The Rev’d Erika L. Takacs is an Episcopal priest, teacher, and presenter originally from Wilmington, Delaware. As a priest, she has served parishes in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Alexandria, Virginia.

A 2007 graduate of the Virginia Theological Seminary, Erika is also a musician and holds degrees from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and Westminster Choir College. Her writing has been published in Earth & Altar and The Christian Century.

Outside of her work and her family, her three great loves are the music of J.S. Bach, books, and baseball. She currently resides in Kernersville, North Carolina, where she and her husband serve at the pleasure of their very spoiled beagle
